M1 by Bowen & Groves grows international presence

Bowen & Groves has created B&G Business Systems in the U.K. to cement the introduction of the M1 ERP manufacturing industry software into the U.K. and European manufacturing sectors. The first installed site in the U.K. is with metalworking company Seeco (UK) Ltd. Bowen & Groves the developer of the M1 ERP software solutions for small to medium sized manufacturing businesses has further extended its international client base by expanding to include a direct presence in the U.K and European market.

The M1 software by Bowen & Groves is enterprise resource planning software designed for jobbing shops, custom and mixed mode manufacturing providing total integration from job quoting through to invoicing the customer.

M1 has quickly achieved over 250 installed sites in manufacturing companies in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

A new strategic alliance has just been formed to service the U.K market.

B&G Business Systems has been formed with an office in Middlesex and has already achieved its first four installed sites in U.K. sheetmetal and manufacturing companies.

Geoff Groves, CEO of Bowen & Groves said that the immediate target is to lift the number of M1 software users in the U.K manufacturing sector to ten by the end of July with a potential of at least 100 installed sites and users by the end of 2004.

"When we set out to create M1 in the late 1990s we always envisaged it would become an international product, specific to the software needs of the small to medium manufacturing sector.

"With M1's rapid acceptance in the U.S manufacturing sector, we have been receiving enquiries from other parts of the world at an increasing rate.

M1 has been developed to run on a Microsoft SQL server with a full integration with Microsoft Outlook and Word and all popular Windows platforms.
